How CDAC works
CDAC Network is an alliance of UN agencies, Red Cross/Red Crescent, NGOs, media and specialist communications organisations, working together to put crisis-affected communities at the centre of humanitarian decision-making. It also stewards SAFE AI – Standards and Assurance For Ethical AI – the first operational governance framework for AI in humanitarian action. A small Secretariat team runs the day-to-day, working alongside consortium partners, CDAC Experts and a Board of Trustees who set direction and hold the organisation to account.
