Sudan: resource portal for responders

At least 15,000 people have been killed across Sudan since conflict broke out in Khartoum two years ago on 15 April, 2023. Health and humanitarian services are under great strain due to attacks and evacuations significantly constraining capacity on the ground. More than 11.3 million people have already been displaced due to the fighting, with many fleeing into neighbouring countries.

CDAC Network members are on the frontline responding to the critical needs in the region, including creating tools and resources for those working on the response.

In 2024, CDAC set up our ‘Local lifelines’ project supporting the Sudan humanitarian response. The project aims to enhance information sharing and inclusion within the Sudan response. Recent publications are:
