Dr Eva Khair
Consultant - Sudan project
Eva Khair is a British-Sudanese medical doctor, global and humanitarian health consultant, as well as a parliamentary advisor on Sudan. She is the founder and director of the Sudan Transnational Consortium, an international network of Sudanese professionals engaged in peace-building, conflict resolution, and humanitarian advocacy. Eva is a development researcher and practitioner, with expertise in policy engagement, crisis response, and international advocacy. She has worked with civil society organizations, multilateral agencies, and diplomatic actors to influence global responses to Sudan’s crises, including through high-level advocacy at the UN, UK Parliament, EU institutions, and donor capitals. Her work with the CDAC Network on the Sudan Localisation Project, has involved mapping Sudanese civil society, local and diaspora actors, researching barriers to engagement with the international humanitarian system and working with partners to identify innovations in the policy space that can unlock the localisation agenda.
