Wala Mohammed is a Sudanese independent researcher and digital rights activist. Wala is passionate about advocating for digital policies for the marginalised communities in Sudan. In 2022, she founded the Hopes and Actions Foundation, a digital policy organisation focused on tackling online gender-based violence. She recently authored a working paper on Hate Speech as driver of conflict and displacement in Sudan.
