Board member – Community World Service Asia

Palwashay is Head of Communications for Community World Service Asia and the Co-Chair Global of the Gender Justice Reference Group (Act Alliance). With more than 12 years’ experience in the aid and development sector and academic qualifications in journalism, Palwashay is an advocate for ethical humanitarian communication, gender parity, inclusion and people-centred aid. She has represented Pakistan and the South Asian region on regional and global platforms, championing dignified storytelling and advocating for the rights of girls and women. As a humanitarian communicator, she works closely with communities affected by crisis, poverty and social injustice, ensuring their voices are effectively represented.
