This case study outlines the work of Radyo Bakdaw - the emergency radio station started by Internews following Typhoon Haiyan, which destroyed central Philippines in December 2012. The case study explores how the radio station became an informal feedback mechanism for communities affected by Typhoon Haiyan, living in and around Guiuan, Eastern Samar, where the station was based.
