First Response Radio (FRR) is a network of radio broadcasters, NGOs and Government partners. FRR has been working in disaster areas since the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami of 2004, providing critical information via radio, as aid.

FRR trains their local teams in disaster prone countries to get on the air as soon as possible by using a 'Radio in a Suitcase' kit, which is made up of a studio and FM transmitter whcih will reach up to 15-to 20 km from the station.
